A drabble is a work of fiction that is exactly 100 words, no more, no less.
When I awoke from the dream, I wondered if our house was a portal to hell like the one in the horror movie Deliverance we watched last night.
It was based on the true story of Latoya Ammons’ family. Paranormal experts claimed that over 200 spirits haunted the house she rented.
Suddenly, I heard a haphazard scratching behind me. I turned, bracing myself for a demon… and found Fluffy, our cat, glaring at me.
It turns out the only malignant spirit in our house was the one I forgot to let out last night.
The smell of revenge was strong.
