Today’s random word is Perseverance.
Grandpa Medium can’t see too well, so if you could stay here for 30 secs or more, he’ll register your attendance. Thank you!
During the early years of Molly’s marriage, her husband never touched her.
His eyes dazzled with passion, but his hesitation loomed like a stalker.
So, Molly began with a feather. She traced his exposed arm, watching him squirm before his shoulders eased.
She teased him with her proximity, her heat kissing his skin before she continued her household chores.
Now here she was, sitting on the sidewalk, hissing at a nasty cut on her ankle.
Her husband wiped and patched the wound. He gently slipped her foot back into her shoe.
Molly’s fringe masked her tears. Her perseverance paid off.
Thank you Nancy Oglesby for the drabble challenge!
