“What makes a good thriller?” Marcie asked, watching Greg tentatively turn the page.

Not again.

Silence.

Marcie couldn’t take it anymore. She crept out of the bedroom, down the dark hallway, and into the spare bedroom. There! If her husband wanted to be alone, he’s now gotten his wish.

Hours later, Marcie dreamed of making love with Greg on a sandy beach in Ibiza.

The dream felt so real, too real. Her skin tingled, and her toes curled as his hands caressed her shapely curves.

She awoke with a start to the killer’s unfamiliar face, his mouth stifling her screams.
