In the Absence of Belonging
To wander without the need for belonging.
Today’s random word is organic, with a twist in the first sentence: I am an invisible man.
“I am an invisible man. The world has ignored me. I am alone. I am treated like I am not there. Invisible. Why?”
The question echoes in my mind as I sit on a park bench, watching the crowd flow like water around a stone. My eyes keep looking at the sky, searching for proof of my organic existence.
Maybe I’m just a minor detail, insignificant. People are too busy to see the small things. But it’s also a freedom, a freedom of nonetheless. No expectations, no obligations.
There’s a certain peace. I can breathe without interference and it’s enough.
