The President said, “Speech writers need to learn to Drabble when they write. I can’t deliver this. It’s clear, this is a prosy speech. It’s too much.”

When Madam President received her address to the Writer’s Union of America the day before, she was excited to speak before the people who can and do change lives one word at a time. She reasoned that given our state of affairs, writers would impact the way forward for everyone in America.

The President had gone through the draft a dozen times. She said, “What’s the name of this writer, “Verbose” is it?”
