Today’s Fiction Shorts Drabble writing prompt is #179. The word is password. The genre is humor.
“Quiet on the set!”
The laughter continued and, despite their best efforts, the stars of the show had lost all signs of professionalism.
The director yelled, “I said QUIET! We’re 30 seconds from show time. Come on guys.”
Three… two… one.
“Welcome contestants and celebrity guests. And now, here’s your host, Allen Ludden!”
“Thank you, ladies and gentlemen. We have a special guest celebrity, Betty White. She’s a pretty one, don’t you think, folks?” Allen winked at Betty igniting the uncontrollable laughter once again.
Allen whispered into the microphone, ‘the password is… Betty, will you marry me?”
“Joker!” Betty exclaimed!
Password was a game show where both the clues and answers could only be one word.
