Because drabbles are short, please consider staying on this page for at least 30 seconds. I’d love to know you were here. 💕

I’ve drabbled here and dabbled there all year since January, and now Nancy wants to change things?

Uh-oh.

If we haven’t met, I’m Hortensia, Queen of minimal changes. Where I reign, we don’t fix what isn’t broken. Drabbles are easy reads and minimally difficult writes in a forum where creativity thrives and writers bond over a common theme.

They’re the perfect vehicle for quick reads for those struggling with limited time.

Would I change anything?

No, not a thing. Well, there is ONE thing, but please don’t tell anyone I’m suggesting an addition, or it could ruin my reputation.

The thing about drabbles is that they often feel like appetizers without the main course. The writer introduces us to a notion, a character, or a situation and then leaves us hanging in the dust, wondering what happens next.
