Today’s challenge is to use the random word assigned, inclusive, and the last line provided, What will you do when it’s over?

My world ended on a desolate March day; fat, wet snowflakes, pavement pooled with brown slush, and wind-whipped debris plastering itself to the windscreen.

Today, grief’s inclusive tentacles beginning to loosen, I’m listening to Please Don’t Tell Me How the Story Ends, by Kris Kristofferson.

Never’s just the echo of forever
Lonesome as the love that might have been
Just let me go on loving and believing ’til it’s over
Please, don’t tell me how the story ends

Had we been prescient, we’d have been fear’s prisoners. Thankfully, we were never asked, “What will you do when it’s over?”

RIP Kris!

This is my favorite version of his song. Willie Nelson and Rosanne Cash blend magically. (This is a great album!)
