They were meant to be forgotten, those closely guarded secrets and words that once stitched our lives together and then ripped us apart. But they haunt me still.

F is for fears, they sparked the tears.

O is for obligations, that wore down affections.

R is for regrets, they shadowed our days.

G is for grievances, once allowed, became chains.

O is for omissions, silent moments that frayed.

T is for temptations, that led us astray.

T is for turbulence, once thrilling, then exhausting.

E is for ego, that drove us apart.

N is for neglect that withered our hearts.
