It’s been a discussion among thinking humans for centuries.

My drabble submitted in exactly 100 words as per the rules.

The mandatory word for 5/19/24 is, ‘happy.’

Please read this short fiction on money’s relationship to happiness with a positive attitude.

It may make you — happy!

He and his brother would argue whether having great wealth could make people happy.

Both armchair psychologists without degrees.

One evening in a coffee house in the small college town where they lived, differences on the topic rose again.

Money can bring happiness

Money can’t bring happiness.

Can.

Can’t

Suddenly a young college kid sat down at their table, uninvited.

“Guys, you’re both correct!” he said, “Money can’t buy happiness — but it can buy you a Tesla to drive around to look for it.”

The ultimate diplomat.

Both brothers felt the satisfaction of being right.

Each wondered if he was wrong.
