My Kindness Ruffled a Few Feathers

Today’s random word is hamper; the twist is to include a mug (you can find the designated adage at the bottom) and include that you’re handcuffed. The latter is compliments of me. :)

It all started with a mug. I collect them. I like to drink my first mug of coffee with an adage to brighten my day, like “It’s a beautiful day to go after your dreams.” With that cup, I put the finishing touches on my new children’s picture book.
My focus didn’t go as well today. My mug reading, “One random act of kindness at a time,” helped set the stage to assist others. I put on my “Johnny-be-good” smile and set out the door, prepared not to let anything hamper my day.
