A drabble is a work of fiction that is exactly 100 words, no more, no less.

After he makes me take off my pants, he locks my left wrist with his powerful left hand. He beats my naked ass with a belt until it bleeds as my brother watches, waiting for his turn.

He’s done with me and grabs my brother. I grab a two-by-four and crush his skull. Not once, not twice… until he’s dead.

I set down the two-by-four, put on my pants, and we ran.

I’ll never see my family again, not my other brothers, not my sisters, nor my widowed mother, but I couldn’t take those whippings anymore.
