I desire chocolate brown eyes but leave it to God to gift me with baby blues. They’re not undesirable; the difficulty lies in how they refract light.

I hit the cyclist with my Corvette the other day, not because I was inattentive. The sun blinded me, causing the steering wheel to veer. The next thing I knew, my right front end sideswiped the unsuspecting teen, and he died upon impact.

At least, that’s the story I tell. You should have seen the commotion.

I must remember to thank his mother for paying me handsomely from her share of the will.
