Challenge for Thursday, September 26th

Your story must include the twist and the random word.

Here we go! Of to another week of fun. Julia and Michael joined in the fun of twisting your knickers.

Did you know the twists get put in before the words. Only then do I open the spreadsheet of words from the random word generator and plunk them in willy-nilly. Random!

Sometimes that works out quite nicely, others it’s, well, a challenge.

So, post all the love in the comments and send all the complaints to: theeditorsarecrazy@ireallydontcare.xyz. (Just kidding, feel free to let me know if you don’t like something.)

Please do not use the random word in a name or title.

Limit self-promotion to two links at the bottom of the story.

Don’t take a rejection personally. It’s for the editors’ benefit to empty the queue so that we’re not wasting time opening a story another editor has already worked on. Just resubmit when you’ve made the changes and/or answered an editor’s question.

Please bold the word of the day within the story. It makes it easier for the elderly, half-blind editors…
