Drabble 169 — cells (Genre Humour)

“Brother cells, I’ve called you all here to the frontal lobe to demonstrate again the influx of foreign vaccines.” Drat was the head cell — he had vision following his stint in the occipital lobe.

“Our body doesn’t consider the welfare of ordinary cells —” He droned on.

“Got plans for the weekend?” Lou, the cell, asked Randy.

“A hot date with one of the testicle’s cells.”

“You’re lucky, Randy — you get all the action.”

“I can’t help being popular, Lou.”

Drat continued to talk for another hour. The only outcome of the demonstration was to confirm that cells can’t spell.

Drabbles are short — only 100 words. Please stay on the page for 30 seconds or more so the stories are counted as read. Please read, highlight, clap, and comment — let us know you’ve been here! Don’t forget the more claps you give, the better it is for the writer. Thank you!
