“We should stop meeting like this, Ted; people will start gossiping about us,” Emily says. Her shiny blouse shimmered under the loose cashmere coat in the elevator light.
“Yes. He’s watching us like a hawk. Does he suspect something?”
“Not at all. I manufactured a believable story. Did you get it?”
“You’re a creative manipulator. I hid it inside an office envelope in my safe.”
“Later tonight, he will get the surprise of his life.”
“Agreed. He would never suspect the company would buy him a signed first edition of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone as a retirement gift.”
