The word for July 15 is settled. There is also a twist today.
This is the last sentence I will be writing and I am going to stop mid-sent…
She died with the pen settled in her hand.
Angie knew the end was near when she took out the notebook and pen and began writing a goodbye note to her family.
Since they had placed her in the nursing home, she was lucky to see anyone once a month.
It was a sad ending to die alone, in a nursing home, not even a nurse in attendance to witness the end of her life.
Maybe now they would feel bad about it.
