Today’s drabble challenge word is “cocktail”.

Today’s drabble challenge twist is that “Harry wants us to write a letter of complaint to an airline’s customer service department”.

A drabble is a work of fiction that is exactly 100 words. No more. No less.

Dear Guff Airlines,

I’m too angry to ask ChatGPT to write a tactful, professional letter of complaint regarding my recent experience on Flight 2NO WAIR…

…Especially as I could gripe about the:

  • Seven-hour delay to departure
  • Squawking toddler from Economy invading Business Class
  • Freezing air
  • Tepid towels
  • Hot yet incompetent cabin crew

But I won’t, because it would deflect from the true outrage.

For my real complaint is why you had no maraschino cherries on board for my Manhattan cocktail!

I await your best offer of compensation, or you’ll hear from my lawyer.
