The doctor said spicy foods can bring about labor. Terry ate a chili pepper.
Hot. But no progress.
Terry read that having sex can lead to labor, so they tried that. Also hot. But no labor.
Terry read that swinging on a swing can encourage labor. Terry went to the park and rode the swings for an hour. Relaxing, but still no baby.
Terry told the doctor about the chili pepper, the sex, and the swinging.
The doctor nodded. “You know, Terry, it helps if the mother does those things, not the father.”
“Ah, yes,” said Terry, adjusting his glasses.
