The muddy footprints came in through the kitchen door and went up the stairs to where his parents found Jackie hiding in his bedroom closet.
He knew there’d be hell to pay for the mess, but fear forced his hand.
When they asked, Jackie told his parents that a dinosaur had chased him.
Angry about the lie, they sent Jackie to stand in the corner while they cleaned up the mud.
Just as they finished, a Velociraptor crashed through the side of their house creating a much bigger mess.
Poor Jackie was too frightened to say I told you so!
