The Bird’s Eye View

RWDrabble 2.0.015 — Known

The twist for this drabble is that the genre has to be, Fantasy.

This is only a 100-word story. Please read thoroughly. Highlighting, clapping and commenting, would be your great contribution.

I was looking at my mirror image, it seemed, though the person holding the mirror was a tall man. His eyes were also deep grey and from the closeup, I could see faint green flecks, surrounded by long, curled eyelashes just like mine, though I had started to use mascara along with a faint green eyeliner.

The idea was to camouflage the green flecks swimming in them, which could elicit a reaction, very different from admiration.

People are known to feel uneasy looking into the eyes of a bird, though the expression bird’s eye view is so commonly used! Strange!

Thanks to Nancy Oglesby for yet another inspirational prompt.

Still haven’t caught up with my reading. Been busy and also away on holidays.

Just read a fantastic drabble by Val Francis, about best friends, and their sharing secrets!

Harry Hogg writes a hilarious drabble about sand, and prince of Arabia’s fame! Ha ha!
