The Day the Ginormous Came
A boy’s encounter with a giant lizard
Word of the Day: Ginormous!
“Run, Harry!” Molly screamed. Harry turned, eyes wide. The ginormous dinosaur stomped closer, its roar echoing through the town.
“Mum won’t believe this,” Harry thought. “It’s like Jurassic Park but real!” His heart pounded.
“Think fast, Harry,” he muttered. “Use your brain.” He spotted a fire hydrant.
“Hey, dino! Want a drink?” He twisted the hydrant open, water gushing out. The dinosaur paused, curious.
“It’s working,” Molly whispered, edging away. Harry waved her on, heart in his throat.
But as they turned the corner, the ground quaked again. “Did you hear that?” Molly asked.
Harry gulped. “I think there’s more.”
