A Drabble is a work of fiction that is exactly 100 words.

It’s easy enough living here, hidden in plain sight. No one would expect to see a young woman with clean clothes and nice shoes living in an abandoned RV on the edge of the city.

I wanted freedom, and now I have it. No bills and no “stuff.” I did adopt Fleabag, or did he adopt me? He’s an old black tomcat with a snaggletooth that makes him so ugly he’s almost cute.

I was almost caught once. Someone recognized me in a public place, but I managed to disappear.
