Drabble is a work of fiction that is exactly 100 words. No more, no less.

By virtue of being Economics expert Irene Dorn’s assistant these last eight months, Jerry tagged along on the trip to a forum in Stockholm and couldn’t have felt more out of place.

In a conference room where his boss was about to give a presentation, Jerry sat in a corner, remaining inconspicuous but available in case his help was needed.

IT seemed to struggle to get Irene’s presentation set up, while the audience waited. Jerry walked over, identified the problem, and fixed the issue with ease.

At that moment, Jerry felt smart and not so out of place after all.
