The Stories This Room Could Tell
Today’s random word is Cheer and the twist is to include the words, if you only knew.
A Drabble is a fictional story that is exactly 100 words.
“Why are you taking a picture of that painting? It’s stained. That looks like blood. Do you think it’s blood?”
“Wow, Charlie, calm down. The painting is old. This room is old, like more than 150 years old! Who knows what those stains are,” Marni said, annoyed by her friend.
Marni took more photos, considering the room and all it might have seen during its history. At least those daisies add some cheer to the gloom, she thought.
Marni and Charlie continued with the tour. They never noticed the shadowed figure in the corner.
