Today’s random word is: revolution

Extra task: Include the original lyrics for the chorus of a song.

She’d had enough of fast fashion, sickened by the accidents in 3rd world countries, and the tawdry clothes destined for landfill they created.

She would start her personal revolution.

In a large shed in her parents’ back yard, she set up her sewing club, teaching young girls to sew simple, durable, stylish fashion.

In the background she played her favourite song to inspire her students to unite for the cause.

If you’re not already on board with writing drabbles, (short, 100-word stories, no more, no less,) do yourself a favour. Get stuck in! They are a lot of fun to write, but also serve as a lesson in tight writing, given the 100-word constraint.
