This Teacher’s on a Roll
It’s the lesson that counts
Today’s random word is alcohol; the twist is to write a story using the image of four coloured dice in a row. (See image at the end).

“Kitty, roll the die like this,” her nursery schoolteacher said, showing the preschool class how the professionals do it.
Watching from the sidelines, the parents fidgeted while deciding whether their children’s teacher’s untraditional lessons were ethical.
As the children counted the dotted pips, number recognition took on new meaning. Who knew math could be this fun?
“Miss Milligan,” the teacher’s aide called. “Where did you hide the alcohol?”
Gambling? Alcohol? “That’s it!” the parents cried. “We’re reporting you to the principal.”
“Can you first pass by the nurse for some rubbing alcohol? I’m afraid poor Timothy’s fallen, skinning his knee.”
