Twisted September Random Drabble 253
Challenge for Monday, September 9th
Your story must include the twist and the random word.
Louise loved your comments. Thanks for doing that!
This twist was quite last-minute. Going down a rabbit hole, I found this NYT article and decided to toss it out there. Use it as you wish. Nouns, verbs, adjectives…
You’re welcome! This week your complaints come to me again: seriously@ireallydontcare.com
I falsely accused Lynn L. Alexander for the historical fiction prompt. It was Denée King who brought you that twist.
In case you missed the story, Medium Responds Directly, Jordan of Medium’s Trust & Safety Department, wrote back to say that he had looked at all of it (Fiction Shorts) and said it was a “fun, healthy use of the platform. All the elements are fine…” I’ve linked to the post at the end.
So, Keep Calm and Drabble On!
🌪 Twists are in the graphic
Don’t take a rejection personally. It’s for the editors’ benefit to empty the queue so that we’re not wasting time opening a story that another editor has already worked on. Just resubmit when you’ve made the changes and/or answered an editor’s question.
