Today’s random word is: Basin

The genre is: Mystery

It took weeks to get into Sandy, her hairdresser, so despite feeling off, Sharna followed through with her appointment.

She knew Chinese food didn’t agree with her, but she didn’t want to rock the boat. This was a new restaurant in town her friend wanted to try.

One prawn into what looked like a feast and her tongue began to swell. Speaking was virtually impossible.

As she sat trying to listen to the hairdresser’s drabbling, she suddenly leapt from her chair, vomiting into the only functioning basin.

The van magically appeared in minutes.

Zhiyu’s plumbing business was looking soooo promising.

If you’re not already on board with writing drabbles, (short, 100-word stories, no more, no less,) do yourself a favour. Get stuck in! They are a lot of fun to write, but also serve as a lesson in tight writing, given the 100-word constraint.
