A Drabble is a concise 100-word story that respects your busy schedule. Your presence here matters. Please stay on the page for thirty seconds so you will count as a reader. Thank you

Joan: “Why make life harder for yourself?”

Kathy: “He said I had to show everything. No fig leaf.”

Joan: “Please, don’t waver. This could be your big chance.”

Kathy: “If Eve had said no, there’d be no shame. We can show everything — Woodstock on steroids. He said it would be a play for the 21st century.”

Joan: “Will Adam have a fig leaf?”

Kathy: “He didn’t at our first rehearsal. He’d need a big petal.”

Joan: “Are rehearsals open to the public?”

Kathy: “Joan, be serious. What should I do?”

Joan: “It’s your choice.”

Kathy: “Life is so damn hard.”
