Today’s random word is basin; genre: mystery

It’s the morning ritual that killed him! DI Villatuto wrote in his notebook. The green basin with brown tea stain didn’t look right… there were some leftover bubbles all around it, a clue to a menacing secret.

“It served him right dead like that! He was evil!” Mrs. Moreno, the neighbor, blurted out.

“Do you wish him dead?” the DI asked her.

“Everybody does!”

“Who made and served him tea every morning?”

“Mrs. Sorren… do you think…hmm…no, not her!”

“Are you sure?”

“Yes! She drinks tea with him every morning… but yet again, I haven’t seen her these two days!”

Thank you, Nancy Oglesby, for the great inspiration.
