They had met at The Roasted Bean every Friday morning for the past twelve years; ever since entering the glorious world of retirement.
Arnold took a quick sip, “You gonna just let me hang here? You always do this!”
Huey looked down, “Ah. I never can remember the punch lines. I think it’s something about a one-eyed dog and something, something…”
“I wish just once you’d tell a joke and remember the punch line.” Arnold sighed.
“Next Friday.”
“Next Friday, what?”
“Next Friday I’ll bring you all the punch lines.”
Arnold shot Huey a long, pained look.
And farted.
