The random word is ‘brand’ with a twist

A Drabble is a work of fiction that is exactly 100 words — no more. No Less.

Today’s Twist: Story must end with sentence ‘You know exactly what I mean!’

If my story resonates with you, I’d love to hear your thoughts and relish your applause. I’d love to know you were here ☘️

I swore I’d never fall for it.

I promised I’d never join this brand’s cult with its audience whooping product launches, high-fiving dawn lines waiting for the latest release. Overpriced gadgets and self-satisfied users with their widespread sharing of their founder’s inspirational quotes.

But here I am, months after caving for a 15 Pro Max, and I can’t put it down. It fits in my hand like it was meant to be there, scrolling without thought, as natural as breath.

I hate that I love it. But it just… works. Damn it.

You know exactly what I mean!

Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works.’- Steve Jobs, visionary co-founder of Apple Inc.
