Dawn and Dusk

As sun at daybreak slow reveals the earth,
Just so does gentle dusk reveal the stars;
And sunlight’s gaze reveals the sparrow’s worth
While rising night the universe unbars.
Dawn gilds the tiny things with unwrought gold;
Dusk silvers night with heaven’s wealth untold.
