Introducing Fieldscope’s Invoice Adjustment Feature.
Over the past year, we’ve happily observed how Fieldscope’s Invoicing features have simplified billing for our users: from first-time freelancers to experienced consultants and of course, organizations who shared their love for the standardized invoices.
For those familiar with the social-sector, the Plan v.s. Reality experience of programs is an all-too-familiar dilemma! We understand that there are unexpected hiccups when you’re working on multi-partner projects or are in the field, juggling vendors and timelines.
Our newly introduced Invoice Adjustment feature recognizes these realities. It allows Fieldscope Providers to revise their invoices as per any changes to their previously committed work, rates or timelines.
By introducing this new feature, we hope to provide all encompassing services that can ease social-sector operations even further, saving our users’ precious time and energy in sorting those pesky accounting hurdles.
Here’s how you can use this feature:
If you’re a Provider, go to your Billings section to generate an invoice. You will see a button titled “Adjustment” under the amount. You can click on it each time you need to adjust your invoice before sending it to the client.
You can add a reason for the change, and the amount that will be adjusted.
The adjustment gets updated on the invoice after which you can send your Client the updated invoice.
It’s always best to discuss the adjustments with your client before sending them the revised invoices so they’re in the loop and less likely to reject it. For any questions or feedback on this, please reach out to email@example.com.
