Our weeknotes sort of fell off the radar a while back (ahem… a whopping 60 weeks ago). I’ll bypass the excuses and just jump into a snappy Week 503. Here’s what has been inspiring us this week…

Roll credits
A high suspense film with an unexpected ending… stick with it until the plot twist.

Asteroid size comparison
Anything above Eugenia scares the hell out of us…

Rotary Cellphone
Love the thinking on this Rotary Cellphone by Justine Haupt, read about the project here.

The Gendered Web
Great work from Normally“An experimental plug-in imagines a web without men”… Such an ace simple project that highlights the gender gap by removing male bylines from the NYT. Read about the project here.

The Gitesi project

Each year, our supporters donate their time and skills to roast, pack, and sell coffee from the Gitesi washing station. 100% of the sale price funds our grassroots program that places dairy cows directly with smallholder coffee farmers in the Gitesi community.

Info here.

Parasite
Yes it really is that good, go see it.

The joy of cooking naked
‘Non-nudists are referred to as “textiles,” like a wizard calling out a muggle.’

Wildlife Photographer of the year
Sam Rowley wins Wildlife Photographer of the year with this stunner…

Back soon 🤞🏽.
