For this tutorial Sam Evans is using Final Cut Pro.

But this is just his preferred software package and i’m sure equal fire can be crafted in an alternate package.

If you haven’t already go and check out some of Sam’s stuff on youtube to see how fire some of his videos are.

See below for an example fire video.

Firstly import all of your fire clips.

Don’t worry about what they were taken on. Just always be taking videos.

Section up your timeline so that it includes a mix of build up clips, drops and chill sections so that your audience is always interested.

Step 1. Fill up your time line with videos and a song.

2. Intro and titles at the start, or include a little clip before the titles to catch the audience’s attention.

3. “Establishing shots” where Sam usually uses drones to give a sense of place.

3. Pick up the momentum, faster shots, normally handheld. Note the pre banger pump up song.

4. ALL BANGER SHOTS NOW!

Repeat until the end of the video.

Include lots of banger shots, drones, people in slow mo etc etc you know the drill.

It’s as easy as that.

Thanks to @SAMEVANSLIFE on Instagram for this fire story and leaving us with a little bit of know how on how he creates his stories.
