What have we been up to?

Hey again.

It’s been a while since we last properly wrote a post up. (21 days actually to be precise)

So we thought it would be best to share some of the things we’ve been getting up to, not just as a publication but as individuals. We want to make it up to you in some way and help you become a big part of where we’re going in the future.

Originally we started FIELDWORK as a place to share stories of people and place, and unfortunately up until this point we haven’t managed much on the place part. So with summer fast approaching (it was even 23 degrees today across the UK) we have been planning a few trips for us to take so we can share what we’ve been up to.

London is going to be featured a few times over the coming months with a photo journey and a short little visitor guide for a day trip up.

We’re also off to the South Coast, with two planned trips. One to Bournemouth to enjoy the expansive beach and soak up some much needed sun. We’ll be doing an essentials to take with you guide and maybe feature a spot or two. Then there’s Portsmouth just along the coast which is going to give us a different vibe of post, with the harbour front and the views from the Spinnaker Tower.

And we’re also going to be writing up some recent trips we’ve made in the past year, and leaving the UK on a few of those.

Alongside this the team is fast approaching properly moving into working life, with team members leaving university education. We aren’t quite sure what everyone will be getting up to but with some time away from studying this summer we’re hoping this will help us produce content that you will all love to see.

We’ll of course be returning to our regular features of photographers and interviews with people we know you will be interested in. As i’m writing this post I’m definitely debating a name drop or two.

a photo we love

We want to enhance the “a photo we love” style post and make it far more regular. Featuring up and coming photographers and help them build a name for themselves by submitting photos into the page. (Are you a budding photographer, send us your photos or link your instagram handle!)

So there’s a lot of exciting things coming.

With a lot of exciting things that we can’t even talk about just yet. But as with everything on the internet it won’t be long before it all comes your way and you are bombarded with new content.

It feels good talking again.

We look forward to sharing stories of people and place over the summer months.

Rob
