The Tequila Sunrise, with it’s bright striations of colour, evokes a summer sunrise. Here’s how to do your own Tequila Sunrise at home!
INGREDIENTS IN THE TEQUILA SUNRISE COCKTAIL
2 oz of Tequila
4 oz of fresh orange juice
2 tsp of sugar
4 to 6 strawberries
Ice
Garnish:
1 orange slice and strawberries
Glass:
HOW TO MAKE THE TEQUILA SUNRISE COCKTAIL
In a Mason jar, add the strawberries and the sugar
Muddle
Add the ice
Add the tequila and then the orange juice to a chilled highball glass
Shake
Garnish with strawberries and oranges
