Best Days of your Life?

My first memories of school were of experimental curtain-sided classrooms in octagonal 1970s buildings. One minute, wrestling with maths, the next — swoosh — the curtain sweeps back to reveal the school orchestra. Disruptive? You bet. Boarding school followed. Settled surroundings for a (way too) lively soul. Trying the patience of the Head. Wrestling with authority.
