The Taste Test
Don’t Eat In The Dark
It was almost midnight,
my stomach rumbled loud,
I ran down for a bite,
Darkness was like a shroud.
I found it in the kitchen,
A tub of plastic made,
My stomach already itchin’,
To complete this yoghourt raid,
But downing the first mouthful,
Revealed a horrific shock,
It tasted a bit like steel wool,
And smelled of a clean sock.
And there I learnt my lesson, don’t eat yoghurt in the dark,
digging into a tub of Nivea, sure does leave its mark.
