Friday fic — six word stories

This week’s stories are a little different to usual. I’ve had awful vertigo for two weeks, which is as much fun as you’d imagine, and not been able to read or write as much as I’d like.

These are faux headlines, then: six word stories inspired by the week’s news. I have been reading Newsthump and The Daily Mash a lot lately, and this is kind of like that but without the visual clues.

It’s bare bones stuff this week for practical reasons, but I had fun creating tiny stories this way.

What do you think?

And here’s one for an upcoming event:

The stories refer to Trump, Mauritania, the Grenfell Tower fire, Zuckerberg, Syria and the Royal wedding.

Please link me up to six word stories of your own — or share a six word story of your own in the comments!
