We’re very excited to welcome John Dimas to our team! John is going to dive into the world of FightHoax solutions and help us build amazing capabilities and features for our equally amazing partners.
Having said that, I give you our very own, John:

It’s all about the creative part of development. Scribbling lines of code and creating solutions for people. Direct solutions.
I made the leap and joined the team because that’s how it starts for a junior dev — you look at a great environment, an awesome culture created by these guys (Valentinos, Valandis and George) based on goals and values that are realistic and reasonable and you say: this is a place to grow.
And then there’s that amazing potential in what they’re creating.

Challenges in a Safe Environment
What attracted me the most was the team’s availability. I kinda felt and knew I was walking into a really challenging and fluid environment, but there was a great amount of safety and confidence in the work.
I know it will take time and a lot of hard work, but you go for it, when there’s everyone there to help you.
I knew I could help deliver results without the fear of failure. I understood from the get-go what the challenges were, the projects I’d be involved in and the fast pace of the whole process.
Sure, there’s a risk but it really doesn’t matter, when you stack all those other amazing qualities in there.
The Communication Flow
Post-its, scrums and every day something new. Different tasks, different projects, different needs — different things happening. It can be overwhelming at the beginning but there’s one thing that stays the same across the whole thing: communication.
