Vol. 3 — Figma for Presentations, iOS 10 GUI & more
👋 Hi!
It’s volume three 😮. This week we have some special treats 🍩. There’s been an uptick 📈 in interest in Figma and that means more designers needing resources to accelerate their workflow ⚡.
New resources:
- Zach Grosser has been busy (as usual) he’s given us a very lit 🔥 Investor Pitch Template and wrote a compelling article to accompany it. He’s written about using Figma for presentations before, if you missed it — Using Figma for presentations.
- Great Simple Studio included Figma in their new iOS 10 GUI Kit 📱. The kit is a premium resource you can buy on their website, they also released three different sets of components for free which you can get here or on Figma Resources 😊.
News:
Carmel DeAmicis, Figma’s new word wiz has been very busy 🚨. Read some of her recent posts:
- 5 books that shaped the design approach of Airbnb’s 🏡 Jon Gold — read it
- Top 4 design highlights from Facebook’s F8 conference — read it
- Advice on becoming a virtual reality designer from Facebook’s VR team — read it
Also… Figma is hiring! Their office is super cool 🔥, more importantly they’re all AMAZING people! See if there’s something up your alley ➡️ careers page.

Figma Resources update 👇
😅 finally, resources each have their own page (like this). A good friend Patrick Turley and myself spent some quality time working on it. Mostly it was Patrick patiently waiting for my design brain to get React. Thanks 🙏 Patrick!
Be hip and follow Figma Resources on the Twitter 🐦 and/or Facebook 👤.
