Creates in Berkeley, October 24-28th. This event hosted by is designed as a means to accelerate projects and position them for growth, similar to Y-Combinator which is managed by .

FiHub is an onboarding tool into web3 and DeFi. FiHub is about making the journey through various digital assets easy and accessible. We aim to accomplish this by providing a roadmap of the ecosystem that hasn’t been done before paired with context specific education and recommendations. We are not just a portfolio manager, but a means of navigating a complex and unclear space.

Our innovation for improving the user experience is simple. We take an asset focus and bring additional context. By users understanding the various ways they can use and asset and where, it strengthens their connection and understanding of where they are and where they are going. This increases confidence and provides a foundation for active learning.

Mapping of through the Avalanche Ecosystem

I have very excited to work with others to help this vision become a reality. The goal is to first onboard users who are on the sidelines on centralized exchanges into the wealth and breadth of opportunity. Then we can begin working on onboarding new users such as investment clubs, young professionals, college students and more across the work to create a new culture and entryway into the space. A key part of this goal is provide relevant context to assets and platforms that is missing. We want to remove the mystery and make the experience simple. To accomplish this goal, we are integrating a multimedia experience into transactions to bolster confidence and understanding.

Example Context Based Video: What is Staking

The above functionality is undergirded by our open source smart contract and interaction list standard. This standard provides a means of abstracting out additional contextual information about assets. This additional information overtime will be increasingly sourced from the community and 3rd parties to meet various user needs. This could potentially include platform information, risk metrics, security and more.

While our MVP will focus on the above functionality, our goal is to quickly scale up the assets and platforms covered. Some of the additional functionality we plan to work on is integration of 3rd party services for onboarding and push notifications. Providing robust systems of support are vital to enriching the experience for new users.

If you see the value in this vision, please make sure to reach out and share with partners that can help bring to fruition.
