Product | Technical Progress

1. Data spot check. Conduct spot checks on the data stored by the nodes to prevent evil, and solve the remaining problems to ensure normal operation;

2. Data reconstruction. When the server is offline, the reconstruction is started, and the data can be restored to prevent data loss. Its modules have been integrated into the main network and entered the observation phase;

3. Modify the logic of the reconstruction task issued from synchronous to asynchronous. When the storage node reports the status, it no longer directly receives the reconstruction task, reducing the end pressure and preventing the end block;

4. Optimize the calculation of cycle costs. The cycle cost calculation module is reconstructed, and the speed is improved after reconstruction;

5. Optimize upload speed. The verification of the optimized scheme has been completed, but due to the pre-task S3 part of the module is still in progress, the speed optimization coding is still pending;

6. Adjust the junk data caused by network problems. The first round of adjustment has been completed, some problems have been resolved, and the second round of adjustment is in progress;

7. The penalty mechanism begins the evolution and verification phase of the new scheme. When the storage node goes offline and reaches certain conditions, the mortgage deduction will be triggered;

1. Filenet attended the first Global Edge Cloud Conference

On November 7, the first Global Edge Cloud Conference was successfully held in Beijing. This conference is hosted by the edge computing community, and is jointly supported by cloud computing industry pioneers such as Alibaba Cloud, Huawei, EMQ, ZStack, and Filenet is also invited to participate. As the industry’s first industry event dedicated to edge computing, more than 500 experts from politics, industry, academia, research and other fields gathered at the event to discuss the core topics of “5G·Edge Computing” together.

Filenet cloud computing solution architect Murphy attended the conference and shared the application scenarios and value of MEC edge computing in the edge cloud special session, and focused on the planning prospects and product features of Filenet Strategy 2.0.

In the future, when the time is right, Filenet will open source the development framework for connecting cloud and IoT devices, and can directly develop applications with machine learning capabilities on the device side or edge computing (hereinafter referred to as MEC). For example, Microsoft has open sourced Azure loT Edge Runtime, DJI uses this framework to realize the local image recognition function of drones, and Qualcomm also uses this platform to quickly build image processing capabilities on mobile terminal devices.

Murphy pointed out that the location of MEC is flexible, and the functions of MEC are all clouded, and it can even include CDN functions, so small that it can fall on the terminal. The key is to strengthen the MEC function while paying attention to weight loss, otherwise the cost will be uncontrollable.

But at the same time, Murphy is also full of confidence in the future of MEC. “In many scenarios, MEC may not have a separate physical existence. Therefore, if MEC represents computing power, computing will definitely be ubiquitous in the future, which means that future MEC will not be visible. Currently MEC There is no final formula yet, and there is still a lot of room for innovation. Filenet will accelerate to embrace this new trend and build an ultra-efficient channel for data distribution and transmission between users. This channel will rely on CDN architecture + edge computing + block Chain technology makes data transmission and distribution between points more secure, high-speed, and low-cost, laying a solid foundation for big data storage, transmission, and distribution in the future.”
