Adam William Ward, Actor/Director: I just feel like the scale of movies back in the 70’s and 80’s are very different. A lot of it has to do with the studios not wanting to take chances so much nowadays. Back in the day they would give some kid that did some impressive short film a budget for a movie and he would get creative and do something. They weren’t so hands-on as I feel they are now.

Movies back in the 70’s and 80’s they would do biopics that were 3, 3 and a 1/12, 4 hours. That doesn’t exist anymore. When you sat down and watched a biopic back in the day and it was 3 and a 1/2 hours long it felt like you lived a whole life. As to where a biopic in an hour and 40 minutes I’m like Meh?
