Chellea Magazine to Stage Film and Drone Festival in Summer 2016
3-Day celebration will showcase documentary films and the work of drones in film production
May 19, 2015 (Miami, Florida) — Chellea Magazine announces the inaugural staging of the first Film and Drone Festival which is scheduled for the summer of 2016 in Aventura, Florida.
Dedicated to educating audiences and empowering talented filmmakers to tell their stories, the Film and Drone Festival will be a 3-day celebration of the art of documentary film. Movie screenings and other activities are scheduled forvarious venues in and around the Aventura, Florida area.
Among the activities, festival goers will experience documentary films, and
learn about the compelling art form of filmmaking and how production is assisted with the use of aerial drones. Submissions are currently being invited from artists and filmmakers to showcase their film productions at this event which is expected to draw audiences from all over South Florida, the United States and internationally. Opportunities are also available for local sponsors to market their brand.
“Chellea Magazine Film Festival furthers the art and craft of filmmaking by
inspiring and championing the work of screenwriters, filmmakers and all artists who use the language of film to tell a story. We are also doing something unique by inviting filmmakers to show the extent to which aerial drones have revolutionized the film industry and the culture they are able to highlight,” says the event organizer.
In addition to viewing artistic movie productions, the Chellea Magazine Film and Drone Festival will offer various opportunities including the chance to have Q&A sessions with filmmakers and actors. Festival goers will be able to experience these interactive sessions with directors, producers, screenwriters and actors, and get insight into the production details, film inspiration, meaning and challenges associated with the film.
