Film Courage: Growing up in Oregon, was the plan to get into film?
Jason Satterlund, Writer/Director: When I grew up I fell in love with film at a very early age. But every filmmaker you know had the story Oh my dad gave me a camera when I was a fetus and I was told to film my own birth. Whatever .
That was not me. My mother was very religious and movies were considered evil and tools of the devil. I was (and am still told) that Hollywood is the Lion’s Den and this is where I will lose my soul…(Watch the video interview on Youtube here).
