(Watch the video interview on Youtube here)

Film Courage: What makes a great story?

Rachel K. Ofori, Producer/Writer: Oohh! What makes a great story…I think ultimately if it evokes an emotional response, whatever that emotion is whether it’s elation, sadness, fear. If it evokes emotion it’s a great story. How that happens is so many things but it has to evoke something because if not the people leave feeling like Okay…that was smart. Film Courage: Have you watched a film where you could tell other people were not into it but you were or (vice versa) it was one that was recommended and the critics all loved it and you were like Yeah? It didn’t get to me.

Rachel: Yes, normally it happens the other way around where I’m like This is awesome! And people are like Ugh, I didn’t get anything from it…(Watch the video interview on Youtube here).
